On job roles

We have found a direction with the latest game idea (correct me if I'm wrong), so its time to think about the team roles. As far as I understand, we should have these set up by/on Monday or at least as soon as possible.

So, what are your thoughts on the subject?

  2. these are what i thought the different jobs might be, correct me if i'm wrong! maybe not one person to each job, like symbol design, it's a start though.

    Storyline
    getting the stuff into AR
    Symbol design for AR
    Programming
    Sound fx
    Interface artwork
    spirit/ whatever it will be design + creation (3d?)

  3. I am neither a programmer or an artist, i'd be happy doing anything involving copius amount of typing ie the narrative. We will also need someone to take charge of the whole process. keeping a dev diary, taking minutes of meetings and the like....which i also wouldnt mind doing.

  4. I would be interested in designing a title sequence, which would be a nice touch and could assist with interface artwork?

  5. I'm happy to take on the sound stuff unless anyone else has significant experience in sound design? all I've had was the module last term. Also I could help out with any 3d work if we went that way, strongest in maya but have a grounding in max.

  6. i could come up with symbols and some artwork, i could even try my hand at the "spirit" design. Art wise I would like to do.

  7. I'm happy to give any 3D work a go, symbol design, if any environment stuff is required I could do that. I'll also try and learn a little of the programming in case matt has too much of a work load.
